FP Red Owners...

I am looking to maybe upgrade my turbo... I have done a lot of research and for the price I am really leaning towards the FP Red. I will not be doing Cams but hope to hit the 400 whp mark. I think with the mods I have now and the Power I made (330whp) upgrading to a Red should be able to get me there.

Here is my main concern... I want to keep my stock warranty and even though it will be a huge PIA to switch back to stock if something goes wrong I will do it. Has any one taken their Evo to the dealership with a FP bolted up and passed it for stock? I just dont want to send in my Stock turbo and upgrade to a red and find out I shoulda kept my stock on hand.

Thanks!

Yes the dealership at a glance would assume the turbo is still stock. Unless they look at the internals or have to work around the turbo and see the FP stamp over the stock data plate your good.

As far as going with the Red and not doing cams I think the Green would be better suited for what your looking for. Quicker spool and will get you to 400

Do I have to send in my stock turbo to get the FP Green? I was thinking about the Artisian Street 50 trim but I rather stick with a Stock appearing turbo and a better known turbo

You can send it in and have it upgraded for about $999 but it takes awhile to get back.

If you can get one new for that price hop on it, I know the owner of FP is kicking it up to $1599 here once they clean out the stock they have.

Yes, I have the Green but I'm putting cams in when I get back home. Cams will help your car over all but not needed if you just looking to get 400 and call it a day.

Green track

Red drag and street pulls

I still can't decide which way I wanna go. Too many choices! The FP Green seems like the way to go, but I'm also waiting on some BB-X results.
