Exclamation LOUD SCREECH at WOT after uicp install

okay so i have never heard a noise like this ever come out of my evo. just installed the weapon R UICP and 5 out of 6 times it SCREECHES from 4900k rpm all the way to 7k rpm. i cant really tell if it sounds like a scroll saw cutting through sheet metal, or the loudest whistle through a blade of grass.
i will try to post a video soon, but what do you guys think? could like shit have gotten in my turbo and thats the noise im hearing? or is it air rushing through either the coupler or gasket where the IC pipe bolts to the turbo? I'm super worried

(car still hold boost good at WOT too)

any one ever had an issue similar to this?

VIDEO BELOW! please watch the whole video, and listen for the squeal on the 2 last pulls of the video

Crazy boost leak and it's the sound of air whistling somewhere? Or something in your turbo, but it's odd it would just start at a higher rpm like that...

I am not too sure what it could be. Get a video of the sound if you can.

Mine started something like that after a stainless steel uicp. I first thought it was coming from under the back seat. I now think its the diverter valve and the uicp touching and resonating.

Could have a tiny leak out of a coupler or something and its enough to create that "whistle" sound when enough pressure pushes through. It's odd that it starts at 4900rpm though because your at max PSI long before that on stock turbo.

yeah its really only when i hit high RPM or at full boost. dose not do it if i 2step it standing still, or just reving the engine. thats what makes me thing it must be a boost leak and not the turbo, because if it was the turbo the scraping screeching noise would be happning all the time, not just at high RMP am i right?
and like i said it happens like 5 out of ever 6 pulls i do in 2nd or 3rd gear

check the VAC pipe on your WGA, it defo sounds like a tiny boost leak to me. It wont be a coupler, they would pop off and you would hear the turbo whistling loudly.

Once I also had the little gasket blow between the hotside of the turbo and the manifold, that makes a loud screeching sound when its blown. Check for soot marks around that area.
