with any gauges really it isnt that difficult.... your going to have to wire power, ignition, and also accessory (accessory is optional as all it does is dim the gauge when you turn your lights on at night) and also a ground wire! and lastly your going to have to run the wire to the engine and T one of the vacuum lines off the intake manifold.

first time I ever did it, it only took like an hour.

also PM i think AMI cause he makes the A-pillar gauge holders and they like 99% stock

Storm Trooper is correct. Installing the gauges is not hard at all. For the boost gauge there are two cables (power, ground) and the boost line that goes to the engine bay and connects to the pressure sensor.

my defi boost gauge (same exact one shown here) took me about 2-3 hours to install since it was my first time ever doing something like this I wanted to make sure everything was right. It took me wayy too long to cut the vacuum hose because I was really nervous about doing that, but it is simple and easy -- look up the HOW TO on here & use that, it is really good! (And there is one on the "other" forum .. evom .. that complements the how to on here).

This gauge matches the stock gauges perfectly IMHO .. and others who have been in my car said the same.

As for the wideband, I've heard it takes longer to do (I bought one, but have yet to install it since I don't have a second bung on the dp for the sensor and plan to purchase a full TBE)

That's a wideband, yeah. It's easier, IMO. You run the same electrical wires and then the sensor to a bung in an O2 downpipe, catalytic converter, HFC, or test pipe. Super easy.

^ so the wideband would be plug and play with a stock downpipe and cat?

which one would match the stock Defi boost gauge look?

Id like to get both gauges and the A Pillar then do the install all at one time. Easiest to install and most stock looking is what I want.
