Steering Wheel Wear

Hi Everyone,

Recently purchased a 2015 GSR back in February...The car has a little over 5K miles now. At around 3K miles one of my co workers pointed out that my steering wheel looked awful. Any one else have this problem? Hoping to get it replaced by Mitsu as I would imagine this is some sort of defect. Maybe from the car sitting out in the sun on the lot before it was purchased?...Ill try to post pics when I get a chance.

If your local dealer doesn't replace it under warranty, I have some NOS ones available.

I got 7+ years out of my original one without issue. And I probably have more sun here than you do.

Our camry had the issue on the top of the wheel. From the sun and heat as I think the glass is suppose to be mostly uv proof?

Can I get some of that NOS, yo?

Mine was cracking and splitting within a year, and I'm OCD about my car. The dealer replaced it under warranty and it never cracked again.
