I am currently trying to replace the oil jet that broke on cylinder 1 and have come across the oil pump being in the way (replacing w/o removing engine). my question is, in order to remove the oil pump, must the timing change be completely removed or is there another way to replace that oil jet?

We have a number of used stock oil pumps and oil pans. They're not doing us any good on the shelf, so we might as well move them. Oil pans: $100 each. ($205 new) Oil pumps: $150 each ($285 new)
