I've extensively searched this forum and others to find out if this will without any rubbing issues with stock suspension. From what I've read, most it seems that most people do 265 max but i'm hoping there are some people out there that have tried a 275 without having to roll fenders. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

you'll probably have to roll the rears... just curious, what wheel are you using, +25 offset isnt that common

+29 tc2 with 275 nt01s and swift springs with no rubbing issues. 8th in lower and they still did not rub but with a +20 running 275/35 a6s rubbed a little and would need to be rolled. currently i am running 285/30 and the only rubbing on the fender liner but i am on coilovers now

I'm gonna be running xxr 522 + 25 with 275 star specs but it seems like 265 will be the way to go without rolling fenders.

star specs and +25 may be a problem. With stock suspension body roll may attack the tire.
^^ Truth. Your fender liners will get decimated as well as the fender themselves without a roll if you drive the car hard.

It will look like a monster truck with stock suspension and a 275 star spec anyhow which is fail. The reason for the 275 vs the 265 however is the aspect ratio on the 275 makes that tire almost identical in overall height to stock vs the 265 which is a shorter tire.

So final verdict with 265-35-18 will i be in the clear, or will i still have issues with the +25 offset?
I'm running 265/35/18 +22 and no issues. I also ran this on stock suspension and auto x with stock suspension with no rubbing anywhere. Star specs are typically a bit oversized and bigger tire, so you *might* have some rubbing with the starspecs, but with say, RS3's or something along those lines you won't.

i dont know man, i have 265 star specs on 9.5 wheels with +22 and i hear rubbing at full lock. also when i hit the car hard and go over a large bump the compression in the rear causes the tires to hit the top lip of the fender. Will rolling all 4 fender fix this issue?
