2.2L 4B11T...........Issues??????

So I am planning to upgrade my motor and I am considering 2.2L. I am planning to Darton sleeve and bore to 2.2 L. There will also be headwork as well.

I have been doing some searches and there have been some people that have phantom knock issues with 2.2L blocks with 10.1 compression. What other issues do I need to worry about on 2.2 overbore applications other than phantom knock???? Thanks,

A built motor will make a bit more noise.
We reduced the knock sensitivity tables when tuning our 2.2. We were using a knock Box so we could listen to what was real and what was phantom.
A good workshop should be able to sort that out for you.

Just make sure you get someone very good that you trust to do the sleeves. Installed wrong, they can be more of a problem than a help.
Once I got my new knock sensor my knock problems went away. I see some but its usually running close to 11.0 or even high 10's afr's so I think its actually rich knock.

I don't think my 2.2 motor has many issues honestly but time will tell.

I think once I get my serp belt/idler shit figured out (going back to stock shit I think as no one can tell me why what I have isn't working) and clipse to retune me I will be alright as long as I run my nice thick oil!
Not hating on your tuner, but I think its much better to go with a tuner that knows the 10's through and through
Tuner is the only thing I have kept constant, time to mix stuff up :) What's the worst that could happen, blow another motor up? Shit happens.
