Up for sale is my 500whp 2008 Evo X GSR. I purchased this in Miami Florida 2 years ago. A few months after I bought it I got it dyno tuned and they tuned the torque too high and I threw a rod. Queue motor rebuild. This car has never seen salt, never driven in the winter and always been garage kept. It has 71,000 miles and only 3,000 on the build. Not really going up since I don't drive it much. Oil changes every 3,000 miles with Mobil One full synthetic. Car was in an accident from 2 owners ago, i dont know the nature but it's never given me any issues.

Motor:
New OEM block
Manley H-beams
Manley forged pistons
New OEM crank
New oil pump and pan

Strictly Performance exhaust manifold

Lowered on springs
Removed wing but still have it in perfect condition

This car does have 3 things that bother me. The tuner wasnt very strong with Evos so the ECU has to learn to idle upon cold start because of the cams. 10 seconds and it idles just like stock. Causes no issues with driveability. The transfer case JUST started to whine during engine brake in 2nd shift. Again, does not affect driveability. Lastly, the manual boost controller. The tuner at the shop recommended the manual boost controller since I was running E85 so I could lower boost for different blends of ethanol. I am not savvy with tuning so I just left it.

This car at 25 PSI put down 438whp on a mustang dyno and 342wtq. So that would be 503whp and 393wtq on a dynojet. This car is an absolute blast to drive and I really love it with my whole heart but after I threw the rod I've never driven it the way I should. I've put $40k into this car and I don't want to afford it anymore without driving it the way I want. So I'm taking a very large hit on it but I want to get a new daily and get prepared for a family life. In a few years I hope to get back into another Evo, maybe an 8<img src="http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

As stated I still have the wing, also have the stock turbo that's in great condition and also the stock injectors and the FIC1100s that came off before the build.
