I read in an article in car and driver that the '09 Lancer GTS was going to use the Dodge Caliber's 172 hp 2.4 liter engine as opposed to its current 152 2.0. Only problem is its the ONLY article I've seen that says this. Anyone know if this is true or not??

Believe so, the Evo X has same chassis as the Dodge Caliber

I remember being told that from the representatives at Mitsubishi during the auto show. and I believe its just the Naturally aspirated 2.4 not the boosted 2.4 if it is actually true...
