im in the market for a evo and found a 2010 with about 89K miles, thats a shit ton but the engine is clean and for the most part the body is really clean. It comes with everything for the car because its at a mitsubishi dealership, but heres the catch, they want 22K for the car. What are your thoughts im going to try and offer about 19K or should i just not go for the car. Let me know all your opinions asap.

You can offer your 19k, but the most they'd probably come down is around 21k

I personally wouldn't buy a 3 year old car with many miles. Do you have the money to rebuild if something goes wrong?

Depends what it is if its the whole transmission it will take me alittle while but it shows nothing bad on carfax, the engine looks spotless in the picture and it only had 1 owner.

Compression and leakdown test
tell them to make sure it is flashed to stock
and have another shop look it over
Otherwise it isn't a bad price

Find out your insurance costs on the vehicle
understand you will have to fill up ever 200-250 miles depending on how you drive/ type of driving
It takes premium
will cost more to maintain and service etc

I wouldnt touch that thing unless a leakdown and compression test, Timing chain stretch check, etc.

Yea I mean a 2005 with 95K miles cost like 19K so a 2010 isn't bad price but the miles is what makes the car look so bad I'm debating.
