2010 WW Ralliart SB (Traded in for a 2013 Kia Optima SX Limited)

Looks like im the first build thread for the Ralliart. Kinda sad really haha. So I bought my Car Sept 11 2010. I got the Recaro package which came with HIDs, Rockford fosgate, and of course EVOX Recaros. I love how versatile the Sportback is. Tons of fun and ready to work. So far I've upgraded the UICP, FMIC, JDM BPV, Works HF Air filter, I painted the Calipers white, Stock Rims black, white engine cover and fuse box. I should have an X LICP this weekend installed as well. A tune is in order next month along with the install of my AMS boost pill. Currently working on my FMIC design. I HOPE it turns out good!

Just an FYI... if you aren't looking into going too crazy with the car. Bryan @ GST has provided basemap tunes for free for the RA. You can get them here... all you need is ECU Flash and a tactrix cable.

Lol I did not mean it like that she can't drive a Manuel so that leaves out the gsr and if I get the RA my stock Evo parts don't go to waste lol if she does not pick it up I will for a DD

oh ya... that is a sweet deal... pretty much can do a complete evo x swap if you already have an evo.

I'm going big or going home man. I'm looking to do a Turbo swap with all supporting MODS and somehow fit an EVOX body-kit conversion kit made for a Sedan Ralliart on a sportback. Should be fun! Also looking into upgrading to a big break kit and add some new Rims as well. I have a lot I want to do. I just have to find the parts at a decent price and find the right people to give me some advice a long the way. I want to try and do a good majority of the leg work myself.

Failed Project

So I bought an EVOX FMIC. I pianted the front part black and then decided to make a home made stencil and paint RALLIART on the front in white. Although this is the first time I have ever tried this, I feel like I failed big time! Here is what I did below.

Hey man, it's not a fail when you try something nobody else is doing! I've got a question for ya, I see you have the UR uicp and the evo X intercooler. I've read other places that those arent a perfect fit, as the evo intercooler stands taller that the RA. Did you have any kind of fitment issues? I'd like to do the same set up if there arent any problems

no fitment issues as long as you take the extension piece off that comes with the UICP to reach the ralliart FMIC. If you take the extension off the length of the UICP will be shorter so the fitment will be fine.
