So i have a 2012 GSR and installed a leather shift boot last night. in the process i had to disconnect the harness going to the awc button. i remember there being a beep when i pushed it prior to the install, now when i push the button to toggle between tarmac, gravel ,or snow i don't get a beep just changes in the dash. am i crazy and did it ever beep? does anyone with a 2012 know if there's beeps when you toggle the awc button between modes?

I think only the tracking control button makes a beep when you turn it off.

My awc button never beeped. I do have a 2008, but it doesn't beep when changing settings.

If it's displaying in the dash then I wouldn't worry about it.

2010, I've disconnected the AWC a lot of times, there's never been a beep.

Every time you pushed the button your brain just went beep gravel mode beep tarmac lol
