I think the car was starting to heat soak after a few pulls out in the hot open air. It was 33C when the car was on the dyno haha.

Nice to see some Solid numbers on our shitty 94 octane gas! What kind of dyno is it? Are you experiencing and surge with that turbo on this fuel?

It was a mobile dynocom.

No surge Unless I really really try in 5th gear at mid rpm with some funny throttle input

Its roughly 29-30psi give or take.

Good solid numbers, I'll probably upgrade my fuel and get retuned I'm also on a 35R, is this Gen1 or GenII?

Nice numbers man! Also tuned by Chet on husky 94 but my turbo is MHI able to hit 460whp on VD. Hope I can also take it to an actual Dyno. Where your VD number close to the actual?

Please do not compare these two turbos, the 35R is no where near its max or potential.

His 490WHP setup is basically a conservative tune.

Yeah no I'm not comparing the max potential of the 2 turbos since their are entirely different. I'm just curious how accurate was his VD numbers compared to actual dyno. I've been following his build and if I recall correctly his VD was around 430whp. And yeah it's a conservative tune from Chet.

When do you hit full boost?

I was thinking of changing my setup for something similar like the MHI or AMS custom 3076R.

You mean 3800? 4800 is super laggy for a 18K. Pretty much every 18K I have tuned hits 26psi (full boost target) at 3800 rpm in third gear.

4800 is super laggy, full boost for me is 4400rpm.

Correct, I just noticed it. It's not as bad some days but I have to video it to actually see, I don't have no oil consumption issues or in my UICP & I'm not running any catch cans either.

Could white smoke be from my AMS Fuel I put on after I was tuned? As in I wasn't tuned for it.

And my wide band sensor went months ago black a** shit.

my last set of VD after I put a proper clutch and flywheel in the car where around 450-460 range. So within reason of my dyno I guess when you considered there can be 10% variance from different dynos.

Does this mobile dynocom ever come out to Edmonton?

Even my tiny HKS GTII surges in 5th and 6th on an aggressive tune. Downshift and go :neener:
