Volvo already confirmed that its all-new
V40 is
set to debut at the
Geneva Motor Show, but
French site L'Automobile apparently beat them to the punch with this singular, grainy shot of Volvo's new entry-level five-door.
If this is it, we likey, particularly the deep belt line that runs up and over the rear fenders and the two-tiered glass hatch. Things get a bit too busy in the back, but we'll reserve judgement until we see it in the sheetmetal in a few weeks.
Mum's the word on other V40 details, though reports have suggested a range of four-cylinder gasoline and diesel powertrains, the most powerful of which will likely be a 240-horsepower turbo unit sending power to the front wheels. Stay tuned for the full details in early March.
