About to buy a 2008 evo x gsr need help with wheel selection.

Hey guys i am about to buy a 2008 with 20k miles on it silver in color and i was thinking about changing the wheels so i want you to help me choose i really like these http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5483. is there any other place i can actually see wheels on a car so i can decide?

post up a pic and let me know what kind of wheels you like, and I'll do some photoshopping for you. I'm no pro, but you'll at least get the idea before buying

why are u buying the 2008? whats the price? that 1st year model are full of issues

Thanks about the Photoshop part but that is fine.I found some pics. Sniper wolf what do u mean full of issues? I know vastevo and he has a 08. the one i found is 2008 with navigation 20k miles and they asking 28.5k

Sniper is right, trust me, I am in the boat right now....instead of looking at Rotas, look to have the money for first, a clutch. Then a clutch master cylinder. Finally, if you are in a cold environment, a new ACD pump. If u got that covered, then look for rims.

If you don't, then don't b!tch later about such and such are out...

Buy mine. Cmc already done as well as all the maintenance. A lot less money too.

Tirerack.com has a feature where you can see rims on your car. There is also a thread around here and Evom devoted to silver Evos. Check those out to get some more ideas.

Make sure all TSBs were done on the 08. Front airbag sensor, Fuel line, Hood latch...I'm sure I missed something. Any dealership should be able to run the VIN and see what was done.
Also check the fuel relays. Mitsu just came out with new black ones so replace all relays with those. There is no TSB for the relays but they are cheap.

like ....(fuel pump relay, differential pins, to zip tie (forgot what the host was) etc its alot! i dont need to mention everything ..if he doesnt care to search for it .. he'll soon come back and post about it.

hes asking about the wheels ..i get that .. the point in here . if he get a newer year then chances of landing issue are not as expensive as getting 2008 issues/changes needs to be done plus wheels ..u get that?
