So I hadn't driven my car in about a month. Cranked it up to go run to the gas station. 2 miles down the road all of a sudden my ABS and ASC lights come on. I get home, hook up evoscan, and see no codes. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Evoscan will not read ABS codes. You need a higher end scanner.

The ones they use at Advanced Auto Parts or Autozone? I can't imagine how much a dealer costs, if they would even do it.

Any scanner that can read CANBUS modules should be able to get at it. Even something like a Bluedriver dongle should work. Not sure what your local Advanced Auto will have but I'd bet it can.

no its a more baller scanner. The autozone stuff is basic and what your evoscan can do.

What version of evoscan do you have. Cause I believe 2.9 doesn't display the proper codes so you would need a earlier version

On mine it happened 2 x , first time it was the abs unit itself, had it repaired and still working perfectly after 5 years , the second time it was a rear wheel sensor , changed it and not had any problems again.
