I had it on my evo 8, the feel is similar to stock but graps harder. You all know what clutch i am going to install when the time come.

I'm hopefully putting it in mine tomorrow so that I can get it to the track next week. We'll post up a review once it's in and I can get some mileage on it.

As you start adding power adders, the stock clutch can only handle so much tq/hp. These ACT clutches handle 500+ capacity:thumbup:

Just had one (Stage 1) installed in an Evo 8 and the small clutch travel is what I'm looking for. I loved how it engages with just very little lift.

Are you installing the Race or Street clutch? I want to know how the clutch travel/feel is like when you get it installed :shades:.

Feel and travel are great on both.

Modulation is greatly improved, IMHO.

I've used both the HD and the Xtreme units at this point (sorry, it's been crazy and I apologize for the late updates!) and the Xtreme seems to be the way to go.

The HD worked great as a "replacement for the stock unit" kinda deal, but had some slight slippage issues if you're doing back-to-back-to-back launching, etc.

The Xtreme is a great unit and really makes the X shine to its intended performance! I love this car again!!!!!

It would be really cool if the descriptions on this page listed the lb/ft. that the clutches were rated for.
