I'm on 55570005 right now. Is there any motive towards starting on a 55570006 for my setup?

For 2010 GSR's there are only 1 tune (ROM) from the dealership. That ROM ID (55570005) inherits the definitions from 55570006. I tried my best to explain it. Maybe someone that understands it a little better can explain it more.
If 05 is inheriting the same xml as 06, then why even have 2 different hex's?

hmmm..
nah the hex is different.

generally when an XML inherits it means that not many changes have been made to the ROM.. maybe mitsu just tuned one of the tables a bit better.

to get back to your original Q, obviously mitsu thought it worthwhile to release an update. 5 -> 6

so i like to run the latest...
Mitsu changed a few subtle things. You won't see any difference in the actual roms. All the typical tables are the same.

If you are upgrading your rom, might I suggest looking at Tephra Mods. :)
^ Which version of Tephra mods? And what do you recommend? I opened that thread awhile ago over at evom and got lost with all the posts haha
You'll want 55570106 for your car. Then copy and paste your tables over. Also, don't forget to tip your favorite Australian hacker. :)
