I'm looking for advice. I'm looking to make over 550 awhp. Wondering what mods I should be looking to do. Mainly wondering about what short block to use. Current mods are TBE, MBC, UICP, LICP, tune. Already know I'm going with the FP Black and e85. What else should I do? Is the buschur short block a good idea or should I do something like the ERL/AMS short block?

Sorry this is my first "tuner" car. My last vehicle was a mazda 6 sedan. 1.) what should I do about the cylinder head (stock, port, buy different head all together)? 2.) going to the 2.3L would I need to get new things such as oil pan, oil pump, water pump and everything in between?

If you want to do anything with your head PnP it, same with your intake manifold. What kind of exhaust manifold are you thinking? Guessing you already know about the fuel system(relay, pump, injectors, maybe rail).

I have a tubular hand welded exhaust manifold that is already ceramic coated but waiting to put it on when i put the turbo on. I have already changed the 1 relay but have been told i can change a total of 5 relays to the green/blue relay. I will be getting a Walbro 255lph for fuel pump and 1000cc injectors but unsure of brand. I was also told the fuel rails are pretty solid so no reason to change it. All info is basically hear say as this is my first project.
