I'm running 14.8 at throttle but when I'm idling it's reading 10.5. When I turn the the car on, engine warm or not, it starts at 14.8 and then recedes to 10.5 in a few seconds. Why is this? What does this mean? That my car is idling way too rich?

yea your idle is rich. When you first start the car normally it would be abit rich until it warms up. Then it will hover around the 14.7 mark.

would adjusting the fuel trims for idle help this?

Lets not throw out the possibility of having a bad sensor or gauge.

Was it working fine before? If so check your sensor.

Or it could be that your stock front O2 sensor is bad.

Mines typically jumps around the 14.6-14.8 area. Sometimes it drops below 14's (12's) or above it (16's), but levels back to 14.5-14.8 area. I usually just tap the gas pedal if I notice it being stuck outside that range. Seems to always go back to 14's for me.
