Are there any good Aero parts for the track that you guys can suggest? I have been looking around a lot, but the best I was able to come up with was the GT300 wing, which I'm good with. I'm still looking for a functional lip/splitter and canards. Most of the ones I see seem to be nothing more than cosmetic.

A thing to note is I frequent Summit point and I love the Shenandoah track which has a carousel in it. So even though a ginormous lip may not be something I want, I'm open to suggestions for the sake of other interested users.

PS: I'm here for finding out more options, so useless posts like "you don't need them" or "your money is better spent elsewhere" etc will be ignored.

A wing that's about as tall as the roofline (the GT-300 like you suggest; I have the Varis wing). The APR front splitter is a functional piece, too, and extends back as far as the front of your front wheel openings. I have one of these as well. As for Canards, I'm not sure there's as much to support these for our cars without doing more extensive aero. Honestly, I added mine to give the front end a more aggressive look with the splitter.

Next on my list of functional aero is a rear splitter. Varis makes one (I think Jun does as well). Possibly something along the sides, too.

Voltex lip, aeromotions active/static, apr splitter, varis canards, varis 09 front bumper w/ canards and splitter, varis spoiler, voltex spoiler, a double diffuser is pointless without a full body undertray(someone make one).
Just what I'd recommend.

Any canards work as long as you set the angle on them properly for more or less downforce up front. The best most highly functional wings on the market so far is aeromotion and kognition. Voltex and varis is good if you properly set the height, angle, and side plate shapes for your use. Esprit GT wing is also custom made for the X only so that's highly functional too.

Canards that require an entire bumper are just..........teh suck! no good IMO.

Kognition JUST came out with a wing for the Evo X. My friend Michael has it on his T/A X GSR. I'll dig pics up in a min.

Yea, its pretty sweet. You can do trunk mounted or chassis mounted.

It will help, less weight to throw around the corner, pressure under breaking, probably more expensive but he has a point, a very good one.

I'd also get ALL or near all my suspension work done before considering big aero. Voltex front lip, rear gurney flap and some weight loss would be better. but your choice.
Also please have something like a Hoosier, cheaper way to faster lap times.

Slicks also cover up mistakes that you need to learn with street tires.

Nope. Pushing it is pushing it, regardless of tires. I don't see F1 guys going out for a few laps on street tires to hone their skills.

I'm running into some budgeting issues (if only I lived at home with momma, I could have a 600whp track beast instead of a house), otherwise I would be rockin the Aeromotions R2 static and an APR front splitter.

That's because they already learned from the mistakes, otherwise they wouldn't be F1 drivers.

When you are first starting out, they always say to start with street tires that way you can learn from the mistakes that will happen with street tires, but not with slicks
