AFR All over the place

Since my tune two years ago, my AFR has been all over the place. WOT it can drop down to 9.8 and I've watched it spike up to 18+. I don't daily the car, and when I do drive it, I've been driving like a grandma to try and keep the AFR where it needs to be.

I was wondering if anyone had any input or would be able to look at any logs to see if they can figure out what's going on with my AFR. I know it's running pretty rich because I'll get huge black clouds on hard acceleration.

I'll list the build and see if anyone has any input. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking the tune. Also my walbro 450 wasn't drilled out so I'm going to remove it and do that when it's a bit warmer out.
Post some datalogs, I can take a look.

FYI, even with the AFR in the proper range, you are always going to have some black smoke at WOT because of the necessary amount of fuel for safe operation.

I'd greatly appreciate it! I'll snag some logs this weekend and post them up.

As far as the smoke, I expected some, but there's times where it seems like its way more than usual. Could just be the test pipe vs the high flow cat that I had on my last Evo.

Edit: I forgot I need a serial cable to log my afr and it's supposed to rain this weekend. I'll try and knock it out and get the logs up.
if that was me. I would be removing my fuel hanger from the fuel tank and inspecting the hell out of it. feels like it can't return enough fuel on the return line, or some fuel hose is crimped or some venturi in the hanger is clogged.

and if you have already made a boost leaker tester before, throw that on for a quick check.. otherwise give a quick turn on each intake piping clamp when the pipes are warm/hot.

funny that my first two go too's are already mentioned above., sorry I couldn't provide anything more.

Looks to me that the walboro 450 is overkill for just 1050 injectors, could be overpowering them not enough line to return excess fuel to tank

I'm pulling the walbro out once the tank is near empty to check everything over. I don't believe the pump was drilled out prior to installation so I'll likely be doing that as well. I'll check over it!

I haven't made a boost leak tester before, but I'll look into that as well. Thanks for your input!

It's likely overkill but I planned on going bigger once the car was paid off (it is now), and I planned on upgrading to ~1700 injectors prior to an e85 tune. Was told before I bought everything that 1050 should be alright where it's at, but would need to be upgraded if I wanted to get more power.
So apparently I'm an idiot and I soldered the wrong pins on my serial cable. I still took some logs since I had the car out but there's no wideband data, obviously. I also forgot to turn on the boost option for logging, but hopefully it'll at least be helpful for fuel trims. I'll resolder the connection and redo some logs this week since it should be nice out.

Those datalogs wont work. Try using the Golden 2013 USDM V1 option in the Select ECU box of EvoScan.
Will do
New logs. AFR is finally logging so hopefully they're good to be read. Tried to log a decent variety of driving.

Can you do some full throttle pulls? Most of those were only around 50% throttle.
Can do. It bogs down pretty bad sometimes if I try and go full throttle and afr shoots to the 20s. Hopefully it happens at least once to show on the logs
Here's some pulls from today. Speed was set to kph, but all of them should have ~100% throttle in 3rd.

Your idle fuel trim is at -12%, and from what I can see in your logs, your tune can be improved quite a bit.
I'll shoot you a message on facebook to try and get something set up. I appreciate you taking the time to check out the logs and give me an idea of whats going on!
