So I recently had my OEM clutch replaced with the ACT heavy duty pressure plate street clutch kit & ACT street lite flywheel... a local shop did the install, said it was smooth when they tested it.
however my engagement point has changed drastically, there’s no play and basically engages from the floor in first, I think I stalled a billion times.
HELP
Do I need a aftermarket clutch cable as well?

There's probably just a little bit of air left in the system. I'd suggest bleeding it again and seeing if it gets better.

Evo clutch is hydraulic not cable. After making sure its properly bled, make sure the pedal is properly adjusted.
