Apart from the stock navigation head unit, what are other viable options for the evo x. Please send some feedback, such as user friendlines, fitment and any overall comments!

There's actually a lot like Alpine, Kenwood, and Pioneer. They all make pretty nice ones.
any double din works. but usually the double din dash sucks. i suggest you get the JDM double din dash if you have the cash
I have the Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT and the JDM Dash kit, no fitment issues for me.
jdm one is like 250 bucks, but yeah fits perfect
Pretty much any HU will work, its the Dash kit that you want to worry about. Stay away from Metra = POS. Scosche is good but the JDM one is best hands down.

ebay dash kit ftw
Yah that one you got is actually looks pretty dam good. Cant' beat that price either!
The thing is that i want an option that looks more luxurious, i don't like the way a lot of aftermarket head units look
This just in, Evo X interior not Luxurious. At all.
lol.....:mswerd:
ZeroCool's looks pretty luxurious. I would say either the top of the line Kenwood or Pioneer will both look great. (i have the top kenwood with the JDM kit)

What exactly do you mean when you say you want the navi to look luxurious? Because I wanted something that looked luxurious as well, that's why I picked my current unit. No silly knobs or ugly buttons, just 7 inches of screen goodness.
lol I was more referring to the whole interior in general :p

I deff like my HU, old though, still running 2007 maps. Been nearly problem free since I got it, Clarion deff makes good shit.
pioneer 4300
:yeahthat:

with the ebay dash kit is my plan, reasonable price and link it up to iphone for navigation, pandora, etc
Ahaha i know far too well that the Evo interior isn't luxurious. What i meant by luxurious was a head unit that integrates almost flawlessly into the car's interior
posted this a couple times now, but this is a nice unit, and am quite happy w/ it.
