Hi all,

I'm not sure if this thread belongs under vanity or performance, as it's a bit of both.

I came across this picture on another side and was wondering if anyone knew which vendor makes the piece circled in red that encloses the gap between the air intake and radiator plate?

This little extender thingy seems like an ideal solution as I haven't been able to find any radiator cooling plates for the RA that have integrated air intakes built into them.

hmmm, that's different but doesn't really seem necessary. I'd like to see a pic of the whole thing. Looks like it could possibly be cutting off some of the air supply to the intake, which wouldn't be a good thing.

That's exactly what it does.I plan on makin a channel out of aluminum and mounting it underneath, one of these days.Which one is better for daily driving, the Evo or Ralli.I own a 2011 RA and enjoy it,it's a bit modded ie:bigger rear bar and the usual ic/pipe upgrade. It handles the mountain roads where i live pretty good, how's the X on mountain roads?

One of the reason I got the X was because of the handling and AWD.. Things amazing on twisty roads.. On coils and a lot of suspension upgrades, so my car handles literally like she's on rails.. Good alignment helps:rock:

The real question that you need to ask yourself is how much money you're willing to spend on a car.

On evo does handle a level above the ralliart, but the ralliart is a pretty damn sweet deal for the money. You're going to significantly increase your costs switching to an evo. If you enjoy moddifying the car, then you're going to really have increased expenses.

It's a financial question of course. Is it better yes? soo much better that it's worth the extra cost? that's up to you.

Right on.I'm more than likely gonna keep the Ralli,I've had thoughts of trading it in for an Evo but really don't want a higher payment and maintenance costs. It'd be nice but after thinkin about it I really don't need it.Would be fun though. The great thing about the Ralli is I don't see alot of them,I see more regular lancers and Evo's.Thanks for the input by the way!
