I was talking about NASCAR the other day with some ******* goobs and we started talking about how much horsepower it takes for a car to be considered --- my mind just went blank, how ephing awesome is that? OH. To be considered a super car, or whatever. What are the limitations on road-legal vehicles and hp?

It went blank because I do not think they're horsepower limited. They are limited in engine size and some other things which still foster competition but levels the field for all racers. It comes down to driver skill.

Again I think its debatable, a supercar is a car that can sustain high speeds for long distances over verse terrain. I think the legality of producing a high horsepower is only limited by maintaining safety inside the vehicles even at the vehicles upper limits.
