What are some alternate alignment specs and what will their effects be?

What are some alignment specs for people with wider wheels/tires and/or lowered cars?

Share your alignment settings and setup.

People should post up a nice non track regular street driving setup for everyone who lowers their car and is worried about camber and toe wear.

^you too. Flip that bolt. Both of you guys have more negative camber in the rear than the front.

Mostly highway DD'ing... no need for more camber really. If I were tracking it or driving a more windy road constantly I would think that would be good.

Going with this setup over the weekend

"Aggressive Street" Alignment
The general consensus is:
Front:
Toe: 0*
Camber: -1.5* to -2* each side
Rear:
Toe: 0* (or the stock 0.06* toe in)
Camber: -1*

you guys are running extremely safe alignments
with coilovers in race mode i use
-3 degrees front
-2 degrees rear
0 toe all around and as much caster as you can get in front IF your plates are dms or kmacs

Evos ,especially Xs need to run 1 degree different front to back so for street i would run -2.5 front and -1.5 rear and 0 toe

I got springs and an alignment yesterday.

Front Left Right
Camber -1.2 -.95
Caster 3.65 4.01
Toe .01 -.01

Rear Left Right
Camber -1.08 -.98
Toe .1 .12

My car was wandering an awful lot over bumps after I switched to my new summer wheels with the stock Advans mounted to them. So I played it super safe with the camber but there wasn't much difference and I am still feeling wandering over rough surfaces and vibration at higher speeds.

So it is either my wheels that were balanced improperly or my tires are shot though they look good. When I pulled them from storage they did have weird blueish stains on them so I don't know if something happened to the compound over the winter storage.

Can't be my new offset as it is only 3mm off from the stock wheel offset.

I would also recommend -2 degrees of camber up front and -1 degrees in the rear. I think that is around as much as you can run on the stock suspension.

I need to get mine done since its been about 2 weeks for my eibachs to settle.

was thinking about -1 on all corners but not sure what to do now. I just want the best tire wear and no pulling. It pulls to the right now.

1.5 and 2 sounds a bit aggressive maybe?

Well ended up 1.6 in front and like 1.3 in back.. They said they couldn't get it better than that, especially in front??? Wanted more like 1's all the way around

Newbie question: What does all this mean? I know I adjust it in Forza2, but I have NO IDEA what this is. Camber I have heard does not improve handling, Caster does. etc.

Alignment on warranty

Hi guys: I have 12K miles and the outside groove is about gone while the inside groove has 6/32. And it is the same on all 4 tires. I think I need some more neg camber. I would like to go the dealer but have installed an AEM intake system. Wont that void my warranty?............
