I've had my EvoX for a little over 8 months, Sawc always been on in the dash.
Finally figured out about 4 months ago the truck fluid is empty, every time I put some in there it always leaks out somehow never puddle but under by oil pan transfercase area theres a leak. I also have that faint whine in certain gears. I DD the car always have. Any opinions on what it can be? Where can it possibly be leaking? What's are the cons of driving with Sawc off? I've search for months with this but haven't got any conclusive answer.
Sorry for such a first long post.

yeah fill it with mapple syrup, only the Mrs Buttersworth Kind, run 20 min on then 20 min off, pull e-brake 3 times then hit the blinkers to the left twice. After that you will be good to go.

Seriously, why not take it in to a pro?

This isn't something you want to mess with. Bite the bullet and take it in to a local shop to diagnose and repair. The longer you wait, the bigger your eventual repair bill is going to be.

I know the t-case will need to be replaced, nothing we can do about repairing but replacing.
Let me just ask is it possible for ATF fluid from the ayc pump some how make in the T-case, and coming out the breather? I've drained it before but really dirty couldn't tell. And replaced it with diaqueen. I will try and replace it tonight also and see what comes out.

Has the transfer case or tranny ever been pulled out of this car? There are a couple possibilities here. To me it sounds like the ACD line on the transfer case is leaking, that is why you are slowly draining your AYC fluid. You said there are no puddles, but then say there is a leak by the transfer case? HMMMMM, they MIGHT be related........

And to answer you other question, yes, the seals can go bad in the transfer case and leak ATF from the pressure side to the gear oil side. You need to first make sure that the fitting for the ACD line is tight before making that assumption though, because those kinds of failures are rather rare and unlikely. Driving on it for 4 months with no oil probably didn't help the situation either.

I don't believe they been pulled out before I got the car.
Where exactly is the fitting on the acd line?
Under the car you can tell it's wet but not enough to puddle.
T-Case always had oil.
Everytime I add some ATF and let it sit it won't leak, i guess once the ayc pump builds pressure it leaks from a line and only visable spot is were i siad. It all leaks out after a day in half of driving.
Ryan P like you said rare I couldn't find anything about it leaking into the tcase in the Xs but read about it on 9 and 8s.
If you can lead me to the acd line I'll grately appreciate it.

There should be a fitting on the top of the t-case with a hard line going to it. It's not hard to see. That is the acd line.
