The only way they would cover it would be if it fails with very low miles and you can show it wasn't abused, meaning the clutch was defective somehow.

it's like a tires....no warranty on normal wear and tear. They can easily claim your doing a burned out.

Wow.  btw in Mitsubishi's eyes the whole unit needs replaced for ANY repair. so more then likely it'll b a complete swap or bust. They will NOT change your clutch packs. and for a $10,000 tranny, they will fight you to have to pay for it. B careful!!
And you should do some research on your car....if you didn't know that already. Your probably going to have some little surprises popping up....cough cough...filter
Changes every 6-8k, fluid changes every 20-30k (first should be like engine break in) finicky TCU as we cannot tune this yet, low amounts of psi able to be held, etc...but don't let me spoil all the fun for you!
