Yesterday I changed out all stock bulbs on tail to led bulbs .. I read it in other tread about it throwing code.. Overboost causes asc light to come on.. What else causes it?? What should I check?
I just checked it with ap.. Code ecu u0167 came up..So the light shows up and stays on when you start the car? This started happening after you installed the LED's? Where did you get the LED's from?
Correct on the over-boost, if the car see's over 30psi that light/warning will come up and kill parts of the AWD (not sure which parts).
I started car back up.. Asc warning light wasn't there just code 0167.. I cleared it .. Did u get that code b4?Is your AP firmware up to date?
Have you tried uninstalling the AP and reinstalling?
What happens if you delete the code? Does it come back right away?
That code is;
U0167 Lost Communication With Vehicle Immobilizer Control Module
Led light bulbs from eBay.. And is code effect asc??That code no, just the overboost/light on.
Try clearing the code and see if that works. If that doesn't try unmarrying/remarrying the AP. If that doesn't work contact Cobb, from what I read briefly there was some sort of Firmware update that fixedit.
Did you mess with anything in the intake area when you installed the bulbs?asc service required light came on again... but no codes...i'm going to take the led bulbs out,. and see... if that makes any diffrence
Nope nothing touched .. Except rear tailsDid you mess with anything in the intake area when you installed the bulbs?
