I went auto-crossing today. On my way back ASC service required light came up. i turned the car off waited for 5 mins and then i started driving home. The light again came up. The ASC automatically turned off and the button wont work. Later i see the
/ - / sign and service required comed up with that sign.

I was not able to switch between tarmac, gravel or snow.

During auto-crossing i kicked the brake light sensor and the lights stayed on all the way about 80 miles till i came home. I fixed the sensor some how and now the lights dont show up. I am able to switch between the tarmac, gravel and snow modes. Everything seems good and I drove for a while.
Can the brake lights staying on continuously cause those lights to show up or did i screw up my diff or something.

The ASC light can be for many reason, I had it when I needed an alingment bad also when my speed sensor went bad...
should i go to mitsu to get it checked.i dont have a cat on my car and i changed the clutch too. So Will the void my warranty and tell me to pay for anything that needs to be done?
yeah you can pretty much count on your warranty being voided. Throw the cat back on, and pray they don't notice the clutch... ;)
any suggestions from the gearheads on this forum
clutch shouldnt void your warranty
The clutch will void your power train warranty. The service chief at my dealer told me that straight up. A heavier clutch will put undue stress on parts that aren't designed for it (clutch master cylinder for instance) and an engine that doesn't need it. By the time you need a heavier/bigger clutch your warranty is probably gone, anyway.

OP, if you boost over 30 PSI, the ASC light comes on and the traction control shuts off. That could be your problem, as could be your alignment or your fluid level in the trunk.
Mits. is going to make you pay for any repairs at this point.
guess it depends from dealership to dealership, i've brought mine to 2 different dealerships in my area and during the conversation it came up that i have upgraded. also one of the dealerships bled the asc fluid and refilled it (after clutch installment)
Wow, my ASC light turned after I installed an ETS intercooler and UICP/LICP...is this common?

To be honest. No... Is it possible your hitting 30lbs of boost?
I will check my fluid levels and alignment. i got my alignment done couple of thousand miles ago. So possibly i did not mess up the diff or awc.

I have light mods done to the car Tomei exhaust, TP, exedy stage 2, perrin EBCS, drop-in and a tune by Kozmic27 (MDR performance). He set my peak boost at 28. Is it still possible to over boost?

Yeah, you can overboost. And, I see you're in Indiana, the cold weather may be affecting your engine, causing it to overboost. Happened to me a lot last winter, threw me into limp mode a few times, too.
happened to me at a recent track day except i also got abs service required + s-awc service required.

ended up being a faulty tire speed sensor which was replaced.

best to have someone check the error codes.
i had the dealership check the codes and and they told me it was because of the brake lights staying on and they wold replace the sensor. I will have them check my speed sensor too.
I had the same warning come up last Sunday when I was making a left turn at an intersection. Did not know what happened. Other than the cold temperature and a little less air in all tires, I did not know what else changed. I turned the car off at the next light and turned it back on, the warning went away. Did not come back again.
It can also happen if you lose traction, I have noticed it a lot in cold or wet weather.

it's actually 28.5psi but his car has the tephra mod to fix that anyway.

op, i wouldn't worry about it till the light comes on again.

i agree with eyler, too check your fluid level in the resvoir in the trunk.

you did have the asc off right? if you had it on that's the problem. it will get pissed when you autox with it on.
Same thing happens to me at WOT.

My car has all the bolt ons and is tuned by Ivey. The problem started when I installed my HKS SSQV3 VTA. I took the car back to Ivey and he recirculated it, but the ASC still turns off at WOT.

It's 28.5? Hm, I guess my tuner took care of that, because I regularly go over 28.5, but the ASC only shuts off at 30 or above...

But yeah, the fluid is definitely something to check.
