the speed circuit test pipe comes with the o2 sensor already for wideband. a cold air intake will drop temps a good deal, and speed circuit has a hot pipe for $155 which will do better than the crappy rubber pipe. humidity and altitude affects alot! i live in denver and the air is much thiner so i run slower. the Cobb AP is a great piece but for $200- $300 bucks less and granted the tuner knows what hes doing will give you a really sweet custom tune, that will be better than the cobb. if you want to go FMIC theres a guy on here who has a really nice piece he got brand new for i think 3 or $400 bucks.
the hotpipe is the upper intercooler pipe. you know the squishy one thats right there under the hood. its called a hotpipe because thats what moves the hot air from the turbo to the intercooler. when ever your bumping up power youll make more heat and if you didnt see that intercooler its a very nice piece for way less than AMS and ETS. im not sure how the tunes will work for the sport and S sport but i wouldnt be surprised if they can do a custom tune on each setting. say one is like an eco mode if you want good gas milage going to work and then the S Sport for when you wanna rip it.

Oh ok so hotpipe is just "pre cooler pipe", i like the look of that cooler and will probly throw that in also.
Ye i know they can with the STI using the ecutek so i think they could with the Evo would you not agree?
and yes an eco/DD mode vs hi boost sport mode.
BTW what boost would u run with the mods im talking about and will the standard sst handle it i see some people making 400whp on standard sst and also with thoes mods what power would u be thinking ?
plus that pipe is only $155 and wont leak boost. most other pieces will run you 250- $350. hopefully youll be able to have an eco mode and your hi boost mode. i can call the tuner in denver im going to cause he tuned out an MR to 400hp w/ a Cold Air Intake, TBE, and e85 and this was an MR. boost id say would be like 21-23 psi, probably peaking at 27 or so.

Yes can you speak to the tuner in denver to see what he thinks that would be great Evos are so popular over there where as because weve always had GTRsfrom r32 to r35 they are more popular here and we love our Holden VL Turbos because from 10 grand and a shift kitted auto u can run 10s lol.
But as far as Evos no one sees them as worth putting R&D time into over here. it sucks such an underrated car
theres a dude in denver who i know and hes got an orange r33. hes got the turbos upgraded and hes about to do e85 conversion. hell be making 450+ hp lol. mad JDM tho! right hand drive, everything! i want it!

LMAO ye was pretty insane bascily destroyed most cars here on the road we dont have a drag scene like u though where people trailer cars somewhere and race we basicly cruise our main highway from one point to another a gap of say 20km and use the traffic lights no real end as such just who ever pulls away wins sometime u can end up at 220+ kph still racing before someone backs down i once hit 260kph against a 5.7l twin turbo holden monaro before he shot he properller wheel out the exhuast lmao.
and raced a bike to 290ish where we both sat basicly on top speed as had same bikes but i had changed gearing and slowly pulled away maybe 2-3 kph faster top speed lol.
Is there much of a off street drag scene there now with car crushing they crushed our first car here last week so its stopped alot of people but alot dont care still lol.
We do have a "big boys night" invite by close group only i used to take my supercharged 512ci BB Holden HQ ute (serach on google images for the car lol) and took the GTR to also where we ahve around 10-15 cars no spectators racers only missus or one friend allowed They were fun lol all cars must be reg'd and driven not trailered didnt stop people driving slicks there and on meth lol
and i saw their 500hp clutch packs also but sent an email and got no response also i know there is a time difference but i find some of these companies think of hes in Aus hes not serious so dont respond and it reall pisses me off in a big way!!! but in the end they loose the business not me!
MR (or GSR)
HFC
catback or trick muffler (TMR have a nice trick muffler that is quiet until you boot it)
tune (seeing as your in Vic you can go the TMR route, or a cheaper option of me and matt - pm me for details)
thats all you will need.
if you want to run 12's, put a FPGreen on and that should net you about a 12.0 1/4
thats sick. ive done a few highway pulls starting at like 40mph and then you rip it and whoever gets a few car lengths up wins.
the sanctioned racing is good tho. i live 5mins from bandimere race track. bandimere.com if you wanna check it out. they do wednesday night drags that the state police troopers set up. i went and its so fun! im going to go again tomorrow night hopefully!
PM sent and ye pitty our government think our local track is pointless even though countless research has been proven to show itd pay its self of in 10 years and make the gov over 1 mill (which isnt much in gov terms) a year and keep kids from draggin on the street all the time.
