AYC pump died on me. Do you guys have any experience getting it replaced under warranty with a "full bolt onl vehicle ? I'm scared mitsu won't replace it due to mods. I am new to Evo land. Thanks for any help

There is a known issue with the pump, Mitsu should'nt give you a hard time. Don't worry too much about bleeding, the pump practically bleeds itself.

Make sure reservoir is filled to spec
Put the car on 4 stands
Turn on car, put in gear no throttle input
Cycle steering left, right, left, right etc
Get under car and open the bleeders let air out, close bleeders ( one at a time)
Get back in car and cycle steering with car in gear no throttle

This should be enough to clear light on dash. If not repeat above steps

I dont see why they wouldn't. I have the C161E code (read on an AP). Took it into Mitsu and they are replacing it right now. Don't have to pay a dime :)

Mine went out on my 11 Evo with 78k miles and I called every dealership in Atlanta and they are telling me that it has been modified and they can't do it..

I don't believe they can deny you for any sort of modification status as I believe it's been deemed an issue on both stock and modified vehicles.

Call mitsu corporate and lodge a complaint, or drive out of town.
