So while i love the attention my car gets, sometimes its unwanted attention. Like for example, today. I went to Barney's Beanery to pick up my credit card i had forgot there last night and some drunk ******* that was standing outside started talking to me saying stupid shit. Like hey wassup man, sick car, i love your car. I could smell the alcohol off his breathe so i said thanks and walked into Barneys.

I came outside and the guy was next to my car bothering my girlfriend who was sitting inside waiting for me. She had locked the doors cuz she was scared. I walked up to the car and figured he would walk away. Then the guy started cussing at me and told me to "get the fuck out of here pussy and fuck your car". I payed him no mind once again because i knew he was drunk. I sat in the car and the douchebag started screaming at me and decided to kick my front bumper. Now as you could imagine, i almost completely snapped. I walked out and told the guy to step the fuck away from my car. I looked at my front bumper and he had scuffed it up pretty bad with his boots. I told the security at Barneys Beanery to get this guy the fuck away from me and call the cops. I told the guy he was going to pay for the damage he did to my car and he pushed me. I told him if he touched me again i was going to break his jaw.

Now while i was waiting for the security at Barneys to call the cops, the guy started saying he was sorry and he would pay for it. He said please dont call the cops and he would give me $200 right now. I looked at the bumper and it looked like it could be buffed out with some elbow grease and a nice polish so i said fine, give me the $200 right now. The guy pulled out his wallet, opened it up and had no money. I said no money, im calling the cops so you can pay for my damages. Being the genius that he was, he decided to slap me in the face with his wallet. At this point i completely snapped, i pushed him back and landed a straight right jab square in the middle of his nose and busted it clear open. He fell but got back up and came back after me so i tripped him down again and threw a couple more punches to make sure he didnt get back up again. I got in my car and bailed as fast as i could before the cops could get there.

Now i know some of you might say that i should have waited for the cops to get there, but to be honest, i have gotten into another street fight 2 years back where i was again defending myself but when the cops got there, they charged me with assault and battery because they said the severity of the injuries to the other individual could not have occurred if i was only defending myself. The charges were eventually dropped but regardless, i didnt want to get tangled up in another mess like that so i bailed.

Has anyone else had any bad experiences like this because of the attention the Evo gets??? My experience sucked today I almost feel bad for the guy too but fuck him, lay a finger on my car and your going to pay for it one way or another

Sorry about your scuff. I probably would have taken the same actions you did. Fortunately, I have not been in any situations such as yours and have not gotten negative attention. Just hope you don't have to deal with this again

Thanks man .. I always get very positive attention with the EVO, people usually love it and appreciate it, but there are always those haters out there that want to damage other peoples stuff because they cant have it for themselves .. It really sucks, i would wish that no other EVO owners would have to experience this kind of negativity because of the car we drive

Haha that first line was classic, im going to put it in my sig for sure! And yea, i hit my lights before i bailed to make sure that nobody could get my plates. I turned the lights back on a few blocks down the road

So instead of getting your bumper paid for and putting this dudes name under a nice little "Criminal Activity" title. You beat up a drunk guy and then ran away. Give or take him bothering your girlfriend..not okay and him hitting your car and you..again not okay. But you just lost 200$ and showed that your self control is minimum.

Regardless I have gotten attention like this quite a few times. Girlfriend works at Moxies.. Works in the lounge. When I pick her up..lots of guys saying shit about my car and her. Just have to brush it off. There is a reason your in an Evo with your girl and they are in the bar.

I've had crap like this. A bunch of ******** at my school, and my girlfriends, like yelling shit at me when I drive away. Then made the mistake of coming during lunch and saying to my friend. "Who's your friend with the car that looks fast that isn't?" (Me). I just laughed, I understand protecting your girl and all. Hell I'm even into fighting, but put him in a great hold and just wait till the cops come, it's a lot easier. I like hearing someone submit too.

What's the point of stooping to his level? Him attacking me? Physical Assault charge. Him damaging my 60,000$ car.. Property Damage charge. Not a good day for this dude already. Or..
