Do I really need to spend $325 - $350 to replace a rear bank o2 sensor?

You could just spend 200 instead and just buy a Tactrix cable and EvoScan to disable the codes. Then you could just sell the AP and get a custom tune. Might even come close to breaking even financially.

Edit: I just looked and apparently you can disable it in AP as well.

You can disable it with an AP? even with a custom tune ?
I've never used AP but a quick search found someone who had disabled it with AP. No idea about with a custom tune, you might need to use AccessTuner Race.

Oxygensensors.com that's all they do... I just got a pre-cat o2 replaced from them and it was like 119$ shipped, and works great. Direct fit replacement ... so no wires to muck with soldering.
