I am counting down the time until i buy my evo x, and was hoping i could get some help.

i want the SSS package with the evo but don't want the larger spoiler...i would like to keep the smaller spoiler..does anybody know if the dealer would do this or anything.. thanks for the help.

I don't know if they will take it off, and put on the other wing for you. The car comes from the factory already on if you ordered SSS. Call and find out.

Plenty of people here, or on other Evo sites might want to trade you their small wing for the large wing. You should check that option out, but you may want to also get cash from the person, since the big wing is worth a lot more.

i called 2 different dealers..both with different stories...one says no they can't do something like that(i really dont understand y....from the looks of both spoilers they are bolted the same..i could be wrong). the other says "it all depends on the dealer". that didn't help either.... i guess i wont know unitl i go get one...

i dont know about you but at my mitsu dealer ship when you get the sss aero pakage with the gsr it still comes with a gsr wing, the mr wing is extra.......

i'm a little confused......when you buy the evo w/o the SSS it comes with a smaller wing......but if you opt for the SSS package it comes with a larger spoiler....am i incorrect? i only want the smaller one, the larger one is just too big for me... thanks for the help everybody

If you can have your dealership swap out the trunk lid with a Lancer/GTS
You cant just swap the wing, the bolt hole is not the same.

so the bolt holes are not the same.. that sux.......i really dont understand y they dont give you an option when you buy that package.. i really dont like that...oh well i still want one

You still have the option to possibly swap trunks/wings after the fact, it could be a hassle, but I'm sure you could find someone willing to do so. Just get your post rate up & post in the for sale section here & other places.

^You cant swap none SSS gsr with SSS gsr, He will lose the Keyless button on the trunk lid, So the only way is to trade a GTS with the keyless and smaller wing.

you can swap, but will have to fill in the holes & repaint. maybe aftermarket might have something, but a lot of those wings look ghetto & end up on riced out Honduhs

Since SSS stands for SIGHT, SOUND, and SPOILER .. that's why you get the bigger spoiler ..

I wanted the smaller spoiler also so I had to decide did I want HID's, sub or smaller spoiler .. I only really cared about the HID's so I opted for the smaller spoiler ..

well...thats the problem, if im gonna spend 38K on a car i want the option....it just seems too easy of an exchange not to be able to do.i guess i'll just have to wait 2 c what the dealer can do....HID's are a must have..no question.IMO

i think you can get the Evo X with SSS for around 33k now.
