I am thinking about getting a short runner manifold and some type of cams that will help me with the 5000rpm+ range without losing too much low end power (kelford 214b maybe?)

I really would like to see what I can get out of stock turbo before upgrading it.

I would like to gain 30whp on pump gas with this combo. What are your thoughts?

Would I be correct in assuming a tubular, even the short runner, wouldn't net any gains up top since the turbo can't push enough air up top?

I would assume tubular on stock turbo would suck. I don't know if anyone's running a MAP short runner on the stock turbo though..would be an interesting comparison. Especially with cams. (hoping kaizen sees this and a local deal mysteriously shows up with a MAP short runner manifold, swain coated, installed and tuned for one low low price)
