thats pretty cool, and it runs xp? call me stupid but how do you manage to get an internet connection while driving? do you have to use at&t's edge or something similar? seems cool though.
maybe they have a usb plug in the front of the unit... and you can use your cellphone as modem!
Since this system is made from a different country would the navi still work here in the US ?

I know this thread is a year dead but I wanted to find out if anyone has used anything like this?

I'm looking to have a setup similar to the nissan GTR. I think I saw something similar in that HKS video.

I want to add some gauges(boost, wideband, scan gauge) so I'm either going to go with an in dash thing or have a custom double din gauge holder built.

i am using a car pc. just windows xp based. using evoscan and verizon usb for internet. I was using pcm scan until evoscan came out. i love it.

Do you have any pics? I'd like to see how well it works. Also specs on your setup would be great!

Thanks!
Kris
But can it run Crysis?
what is Crysis? are you referring to the video game?

just sent you a pm with a link to the pics on my facebook of it.
I've been looking at these for a while. Looks like a custom system can be built for around $800. It beats the crap out of a regular navi/dvd head unit.
