But there is an option to send your current one and they will coat it for a cheaper price!! but even for UK it takes two weeks to get your cover back.

Funny that mine is being done right now... shipped it off today... $300 plus shipping is crazy! Its not rocket-science... its hydro dipped. Same theory as most hunting rifles and stuff with that mossy oak print etc

I wouldnt even say I like carbon fiber... I did a spare I have laying around, but mine is A LOT different than the one above, just to see the result.

Saying you like carbon is like saying that you like wheels... they are not all equal... carbon over fiberglass... or the carbon that most people on here have is not any better than a fiberglass hood... or the carbon look... So unless you have Varis or Coltspeed or some other big $ carbon pieces I wouldnt say that your pieces are much better than the hydro dipped piece above...

Looks good, but I agree with what AndresNeves said, there's just way too much purely aesthetic carbon looking stuff going around these days. Carbon looking vinyl wraps on roofs etc. Not feeling the non-functional carbon look stuff. It's somewhat rice to me. Not that I have a problem with doing things just for aesthetic purposes, I think shaved engine bays and powdercoated valve covers etc are awesome. I just don't like making things look like something that they actually aren't

Like carbon hood dampers or tow hooks on anything other than a racecar or titanium looks lugnuts and shiftknobs.... list goes on an on. I hear the argument and if I daily drove my car I might agree... but I don't and I have a coated one on it now... which does zero but look cool so is there really a difference?
