Hi guys. So I decided to go wingless on my 2011 RA and bought a Do Luck CF trunk. But I notice now that the cf trunk doesn't close flush with the rear quarter panels. Anyone know a remedy to fix this? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Here are some pics of an actual, authentic Do Luck. Im not sure if they'll help but I hope they will.

Is that a Ralliart or Evo X in those pics? For my Ralliart, I notice a few problem areas:
1. There's a half-inch gap on each side of the trunk, between the edge of trunk and the body panels.
2. When closed shut, the trunk isn't 100% flush with the body panels, rising about quarter-inch on either side above the top surface of the rear quarter panels.

Body lines with respect to the trunk and the actual trunk deck lid itself are identical between RalliFART, base Lancer, Lancer GTS, Evo X GSR, Evo X MR, etc. It is the exact same body lines.

What you're failing to provide us is the info we're asking: do you have a Do-Luck or do you have a Mastergrade/Seibon/ShowstoppersUSA trunk? If you have an authentic Do-Luck, it might not fit too great even after making all adjustments possible. If you have one of the knock-offs it will definitely not fit too great after all adjustments. The authentic will likely still not be perfect (anybody who says it is would clearly be biased, Do-Luck does not make OEM quality fitment, but not too shabby I must say), but I've never seen a knock-off be even close to that. My own knock-off is... well... let's just say you get what you pay for lol :waiting:

Notice the gaps... they're not TERRIBLE, but they're far from good

I had to have my shop re-resin the edges, shape the edges, etc. Authentic as well. Now it's absolutley flawless, but not when I got it. Hey, it's fiberglass with a CF layer...whattaya want? From what I know, the DL trunks HAVE had some issues and returns lately. Close friend's as an example. It fit terribly.
