Im trying to get a price on the FRP Do Luck trunk, but I havent heard back yet.

So I was thinking about the wingless trunk for $290. http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/catalog/?section=733

And then get a duck tail wing for about $200. So about $500. Plus, I would need to get it all painted to match the rest of the car. If I got the Do Luck trunk, id have to get it painted also.

Does the Do Luck cost more than $500? And what do you think of my idea?

The showstopperusa or whatever version is absolutely horrible looking... but I got it for cheap so I don't care. Gonna throw a wing on it eventually anyways.

CF is like $1100-1200, the FRP is gonna be like $800 shipped, no? Not sure where the $1050 price tag comes in...

So that's where it came from. Not much incentive to go FRP over CF as far as price, but it's gotta be hard to get a single fitment issue with the FRP (even authentic sometimes has fitment issues with the carbon fiber version... nowhere near what I'm dealing with on my knockoff lol)

Lol, I agree I would just got Carbon but some people prefer the savings since they decide they want to paint it anyways and dont care about the weight difference. To each their own! That said, Do Luck even in Carbon is a damn near as close to perfect fitment, if not perfect fitment as OEM is every time.

Lmao, I'll keep that in mind. Current plans are to put holes in this junk and slap a big wing to it. Thanks.
