After reading the how to thread on removing the clutch pill, I'm planning on doing it these days. One question I have though is, can this be done completely through the engine bay? Or does the car have to be lifted in order to do this?

Also, I have ~20000 miles on the car, will I need to have more clutch fluid handy or should I be fine to complete the bleeding process without any?

You can get at it from above. You basically just pull off the intake to get at it. The clutch hydraulic system is sealed so any fluid that comes our should be replaced, so get some more since you'll push a bit out bleeding it. (make sure you have a helper ready to bleed)

really easy process. The hardest part if you think it is hard is bleeding the clutch after. Super easy to do.
