Hey everyone. So i recently made my purchase of the Cobb AP,turbo inlet, and the drop in that comes with the AP. Until my next paycheck I'm holding off on a UICP and following that will be an exhaust. I read in a few threads that if your installing an intake you should tune but with a drop in, its not needed. But since i have the inlet pipe going in also, which people seem to say is "like a full intake", should i run a tune? or should i wait till i get my UICP and exhaust (later this year)?

Solved

Cobb contacted me and told me that the only OTS tune i would need is the one for the DropIn filter which is usually pre-loaded on the AP. The turbo inlet and UICP will not require an OTS tune.

If you can find K&N filter used do that. When I bought my Cobb filter they forgot to preoil it and it looked exactly like the K&N one. the only different is Cobb uses different color oil.
