Didn't feel like there were enough pics of this exhaust installed. I know some people don't like the look of the quad but I thought it was the best-looking by far! I had a video of the exhaust but it turned out really crappy because the car was still in the carport (thus i succeeded only in giving my friend carbon monoxide poisoning lol). Excuse the cell phone pics and the dirtiness of the car.... i'll be getting to that later and will post more pics...
As for the install, it was pretty straight forward and fit perfectly without having to make any adjustments. The hardest part was bolting the mid pipe to the cat pipe because the heat shield blocks any view of the flanges meeting together so it is hard to see if the bolts are going in straight. As you can see, i did this on ramps which definitely added to the difficulty
I would have liked for the kit to have included the bolts from the cat pipe to the mid pipe (as mine were already rusted). Also, the bolts from the mid pipe to the muffler replace the factory bolt/spring setup so I feel like some of the flexibility is lost. Those same bolts came with nuts that seemed to be the wrong thread size (???). Luckily I had some nuts that did fit.
As for the sound, I'd say that it's about 110-120% louder than stock (at least from the inside) and has a bit lower tone. Again this is only the cat-back! My test pipe and down pipe are coming in today (I'd like to wait for my A-pillar and gauges to install at the same time.... but I don't know if I'll be able to resist!) I'm sure the test pipe will make a big difference in sound (according to a few videos out there already)
