So I finally purchased a COBB turbo inlet to go along with the HKS drop-in I already had installed.

So before the COBB inlet install I was able to hear the turbo spool and the diverter valve pretty loud and clear, and now after installing the COBB inlet I could barely hear the turbo spooling an the diverter valve now. Has anyone else experienced this? Could this be a probable. Also just an FYI, there no CEL.

I have the inlet with stock box and hear the spooling quite clearly.
Really? I could hear it too but I've noticed that when I had the stock inlet on, I could hear the spool clearly too, but after putting I'm the COBB its much quieter. I just wanna know if I did something wrong.

Yes, make sure you tightened it evenly. My COBB pipe contorted while under lots of boost, I contacted Cobb and they said first
Time they've seen this, but bc
It bent when I reattached I had to make sure there wasn't any leaks, needless to say, the Cobb
T.I.P. Didn't last very long on my setup. But you will
Hear increased turbo sound by adding it!

Yea I'll just double check if everything is tightened up.

The car seems to not have any leaks but I can't be 100% sure because it seems like i havent lost any boost. Thanks for your input.
