I have a lightly modified gsr that I have been using for trackdays with minimal daily driving. I have sport springs on stock shocks as well as an exhaust with tune. Both of those modifications definitely made a difference that I can feel and see in lap times. Of course the more track days I do I get a little quicker as well. Im running Hankook RS3s but will go to an r comp soon. My question to those that track your cars is which direction should I go first? My two choices are AST 5100 Coilovers with Vorshlag camber plates 600/700 lb spring rates or FP red and the pieces that go with it (dp,injectors etc). Of course too me the turbo seems like the more "entertaining" mod to do but ultimately I just want to be quicker at the track and take seconds off my lap times.

Coilovers then turbo later get use to the power you have now with good suspension then go from there JMHO

I never did in the evo I sold last year but I did all the time in my s2000 and coilovers and a good tune is more then enough for a great track day I think:)

Had this same question, ended up buying some pretty sick coilovers and couple other suspension mods, nice tires and rims, and then hopefully saving up for turbo before season but if not no biggie! still had tons of fun last season on stock suspension and shit tires! still beat 75% of the people also...

coilovers will be much more beneficial with a good tires then a turbo. coilovers and tire combos can be going a long way vs turbo. unless its a drag race.

You're running RS3s? If you think you had grip until now, wait till you get the coilovers...you'll be in holy shit teritory.
