Cooper Zeon RS3-S tires

Anyone ever had any experience with these? I'm researching tires to replace my stock Advans this spring. I see nothing but great reviews from the Mustang community, and figured this could translate well over to our cars, as both are relatively heavy. They're priced close to that of the Hankook R-S3, that from what I've read are better with a lighter car.

I bought a set of sumitomo htr zIII .. absolutely love em!!
I don't have any exp, personally, but my pops works at a ford dealer and builds mustangs. He told me for the price they are the best tires. (he runs them on all the mustangs he builds.) Nice looking tread too. I'm kinda surprised they haven't been more mainstream in the evo community as well
I've been wondering the same. In a R&T comparison about 6 months ago they received a very high review for the price. Any first hand experience?
A Subie owner with a set of these tires posted on NASIOC forum the tires wear quickly. He might get 10,000 miles.

Nice. I've seen and heard nothing but good things. It is odd then that there is no one running these. I think I'm going to give them a try. My stock advans are hurting after 10k miles and 4 track days, and if I can get even close to that with the Coopers I'll be happy. Won't be till the spring, but I'll post some pictures when I buy them and do a little review on how the perform at the track.
They got a good review in Modified magazine
I can't find this review, do you remember about when this came out?

I agree, but Tirerack doesn't sell Cooper. I think they rely mainly on smaller tire shops, as they have sold predominantly replacement tires. I have a local place that has been great to me that sells them, but I do wish Tirerack sold them so I could read some reviews.
I have these and I was wondering if I could auto-x/track them or if they would wear down really fast. The car is predominantly my daily

I wouldn't believe they would wear faster than any other high performance tire. Track driving will wear any tire faster than DD, but the Cooper was built for this eventuality.

Nice. That's all I wanted to hear.
