I have a 2008 evo gsr. i drove it just fine and let it sit for 1 day and now it won’t start. i’ve been trying to start it the past 3 days and nothing has been working. i pulled all the plugs checked them, got a new battery, tried starting fluid but all it does is crank. i’m starting to think it’s maybe a fuel pump but it seems to be getting fuel. any suggestions?

Check for codes. It could be a crank position sensor if you aren't getting spark but start with codes. (Might not have a CEL yet if it's a pending DTC)

It doesn’t have any current codes but i might just replace the sensor and see where that gets me.

If you used starting fluid and there was no attempt to even fire, check plugs and make sure they are not fuel soaked.

After doing that, check for spark, if none is present, follow the diag tree for no spark

When my car did this, I had one bad coil and put in 4 new plugs. The car started right up. There was no indication of anything wrong with the car when I parked it and the next time I tried to drive the car it wouldn't start. No codes at all.

How are you checking if there is fuel?
