nanny parents. Before i was 16, if i wanted to go somewhere, i had to walk. Want to play little league? walk your ass to practice every day. Want to go to the community pool? ice skating rink? fishing? Walk... or ride you bike. Miss the bus to school? Fucking walk or your grounded! It was like that for everyone. We wanted to drive because it beat walking!
Today if you let your kid walk anywhere by themselves, someone calls the cops on you and family service threaten to take your kid away. Instead kids today have private chofer to take them everywhere. Why the hell would they want to drive?
