Maybe it's meant to open like a chest...that's why they oriented it that way?

But the sticker isn't mirrored, so even if you can easily read it upside down, you would have to flip it to the other side. Can anyone else confirm this? Maybe it's just my car.

Does the fuse size denote the power that is being supplied? If so, what would work for 12v? @[email protected]

I am sure you can get a 12V power supply out of it. My friend wanted to put little lights in his car that would dim as he closed the door just like the cabin light on the roof. The problem with that is that the fuse comes before the switch. The switch is either a part of the complexe BCM (Body Control Module) if thats what its called in this car, or a relay somewhere.

Sorry, I was trying to do a search but didn't find a list of the descriptions of what these fuses are for.

I keep having an issue of blowing fuse #5 in the picture on page 1. Can someone tell me what fuse 5 does?

It's in your owner's manual.

Fuse 5 is listed as optional, with no real specific application.
